SiVIAA has signed an MOU with KIOCH to raise funds for KIOCH, the first fundraiser being a Charity Movie Premiere of the Nepali movie “Gaun Ayeko Bato” by Daya Hang Rai.
An agreement of cooperation was made and entered into this morning by and between our School’s Alumni – Sidhartha Vanasthali Institute Alumni Association (SiVIAA) represented by its Board Members and Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) represented by its Founder Chairman Dr. Bhagawan Koirala, Founder Director Dr. Jyotindra Sharma (an Ex-Vanasthalian) & KIOCH team. The signing ceremony was held at KIOCH’s office at Hepali Height, Kathmandu.
Dr. Bhagawan Koirala proudly welcomed and thanked our collaboration with KIOCH’s support in the fight against maternal, newborn and child morbidity & mortality and KIOCH’s vision to make pediatric care available, accessible and affordable in Nepal through building children’s hospital in Kathmandu and satellite hospitals in remaining provinces of Nepal.
Our contribution of 15.51 L to KIOCH this morning has reiterated Ex-Vanasthalians fraternity’s continued support & responsibility for the greatest benefit of our communities and the nation in large. KIOCH shall name us as the Silver Partner of KIOCH and the fund shall be used for the construction of children’s hospital at Hepali Height.
We would want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed in creating this fund for SiVIAA. Let us all thank Pratistha Bhandari for the lead & the entire Board Members for working so hard and make it happen in such a short time. Everyone’s generosity for this collaboration & support shall open doors for the next generation from Vanasthali and our society to support those who need the most from us. Thank you everyone. Together, we are able to do much more and together, we will do much more.
